Save Lives through a Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project Membership

If you would like to help save lives on the Great Lakes through water safety drowning prevention, please become a member of the Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project.  (The PayPal button is at the upper right corner of this page. Follow the drop-down menu.) 

The Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project (GLSRP) is currently an unfunded nonprofit organization.  By becoming a GLSRP member you or your organization will be contributing to the GLSRP’s overall Mission to be the leader of Great Lakes water safety and reduce the number of Great Lakes drownings through training, public preparedness, and public awareness; and its Vision that everyone is knowledgeable, engaged and proactive in water safety with an emphasis on the Great Lakes region.  

With your membership and support, we can work together to help save lives. Membership fees will be used to cover administrative and travel costs to create and produce the GLSRP’s “Water Safety Surf Rescue” classes on the Great Lakes.  All memberships are valid for one year from the date registration payment is received. Donations for memberships are annual, tax-deductible and non-refundable.

--Discounts at Great Lakes Businesses: 10% Discount at GLSRP Partner businesses such as Third Coast Surf Shop, BeachNut Surf Shop, No Quarter Surfboards, Wet Mitten Surf Shop, Great Lakes Proud, and more businesses coming soon. (Discounts may exclude boards (surf, skate, SUP) and wet suits)

ABOUT GLSRP
Become a member of the Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project.  The Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project, Inc. (GLSRP) is about saving lives. It is a nonprofit corporation that is a Chapter of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) that tracks drowning statistics, teaches “Water Safety Surf Rescue” classes, and leads the “Third Coast Ocean Force” rip current awareness campaign on the Great Lakes.

It has been selected to present at the 2nd International Rip Current Symposium Nov. 1st, 2012 in Sydney, Australia; the 2012 winner of the “Outstanding Service to the Great Lakes Community” award presented by the Dairyland Surf Classic; the 2011 “Lifesaver of the Yearaward winner; and a presenter at the NDPA’s 11th Annual Symposium in San Diego, March 9, 2012.

We have different membership levels to facilitate our customers including bronze, silver and gold levels of memberships.
